Bio

Hello I am Camaury Jene’ Prados-Washington, daughter of Dwayne and Shalon Washington. I have the greatest parents in the world, they're my backbones. I’m the only girl of 3 boys, and I just so happen to be the third oldest child. My oldest brother Corey Prados attends UTA, and is studying law. DeAndre’ Washington the second oldest is attending Texas Tech University. He is the starting running back in Lubbock. Colbey Washington is the youngest just starting middle school, he does everything. My brothers play a huge role in my life, they've impacted me most with the things they are doing and are going to do. Family and friends are very important to me. When all else fails I know there’s a God above that I can look to. I love to write; sometimes I get so lost in my creativity it's hard to come back. I believe that it is a privilege to be a part of a family, because every unfortunately does not get that wonderful opportunity.

I am the granddaughter of Pastor Johnny Prados and 1ST Lady Barbara Prados. The church I attend is Christ Character Church located in Fresno, TX. I am an A-B student at Hightower High school, where I also am a part of the Varsity Volleyball Softball, and Track teams. As far as future goals, I would like to major in journalism and minor in public broadcasting. At Hightower I am a member of the media broadcasting academy I will be going into my senior year interning at Houston Chronicle and other local Houston broadcasting and Public writing locations.

Softball is something I have grown to love. It wasn't my first choice, but it’s funny how things work out. I have currently been playing softball for 7 years now, and I just can't seem to stop. My very first year I was a first baseman, but of course as time moved on I found a more suitable spot at shortstop and third base. I now play centerfield for Stealth and it's pretty awesome.

I’ve always had a motto that simply states "Dare to believe". To me that means dare to believe that you can do anything with God, you can overcome the things that seem unbearable; you can even do what man claims to be Impossible. Last but most certainly not least Sugar Land Stealth 18u Gold Softball, pretty long name. However I am proud of the purple and black colors worn whenever I step on the field. I've been taught to wear them with pride and respect. The loving feeling I get when I'm with my team is simply indescribable. It has been my honor to say that I am a part of such an organization. Thanks to Coach Freddy I now know that where ever I go and whatever I do, if nobody else does this I will always "Expect Excellence".
